After the first images taken from the artbook [news], the Studio Ghibli's official website has published the first official images for Kimi-tachi wa Dou Ikiru ka? (literally "How do you live?"), in international territory: The Boy and the Heron, inspired by the 1937 novel by Genzaburo Yoshino.

The film follows a boy named Mahito Maki, who discovers an abandoned tower in his new town and enters a fantasy world with a talking gray heron.

While it will have to wait until 2024 to see it in theaters around the world, the film will have its premiere outside Japan at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7 and then at the San Sebastián Film Festival (Spain) on the 22nd for the film's European premiere.
