Migration - first images of the Illumination's new feature

Read...
Expected in theaters this Christmas, the new feature film from the Illumination studios (Despicable Me, Minions, The Super Mario Bros. Movie) is titled Migration. Below the first animations.
Migration is directed by Benjamin Renner (director of the French Ernest & Celestine and The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales) based on an original story conceived by Mike White (School of Rock, The White Lotus) and also produced by the studio boss Christopher Meledandri.

The film has been described as a modern-day comedy that follows a family of ducks who convince their overprotective father to go on the trip of a lifetime as they head south for the winter from New England, through New York City, and down to the Bahamas.

Expected for Christmas 2023, it will be the first year since 2016 in which Illumination studios release two films in the same year.

The teaser still shows little of the new title, with a promo in which the first half is dedicated to showing the previous blockbuster titles produced by the studios, as if there were a form of unknown factor towards an original title, not linked to a known franchise who can already count on a considerable following of fans.
