Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle anime breaks record after record

Read...
The first anime film that opens the final Demon Slayer trilogy continues to break records both at home and overseas.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle is the first film of the trilogy born from the mind of the author Koyoharu Gotoge, with the story that takes Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps inside the stronghold of the demons: the Infinity Castle, the battlefield of the final battle.

At the Japanese box office, the film has already grossed 31 million yen (about $213 million) in 46 days, surpassing Titanic for third place in the history of the highest-grossing Japanese film.

In American theaters, the film also performed surprisingly well, taking first place over the weekend with $70 million and being released in 3,315 theaters.

The total worldwide gross is currently $353 million.

Not bad for the first film in the trilogy. A more than worthy finale for one of the most brilliant anime (and manga) in every sense of the word in recent decades, acclaimed by critics and audiences alike.
