Three Kingdoms Japan in the anime Nippon Sangoku

Based on the manga of the same name, the anime Nippon Sangoku is in the final stages of production and will premiere in a few months. Info and the first promo video below.
In a near-future Japan where civilization has regressed due to nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance. The nation fractures into three, plunging into a new Three Kingdoms era as each vies for supremacy. Aoteru Misumi, once an obscure local bureaucrat, sets his sights on the reunification of Japan. Armed with vast knowledge and exceptional eloquence, he steadily rises. The legend of the man later known as the prodigious strategist begins now.
Twin Engine studios have announced that Ikka Matsuki's manga, titled Nippon Sangoku (Japan Three Kingdoms), which has been published since 2021, will be getting an anime adaptation this April.
The animation is produced by Studio Kafka, with Kazuaki Terasawa directing and Takahiko Abiru (Vinland Saga) as character designer and chief animator.
