Also to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball, the studios announce the arrival of a new television anime series, based on the previous one. Watch the promo below.
A few days ago, we talked about the Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Special Video [news], a video created for the important anniversary of the franchise created by Akira Toriyama.
At the end of the video, the new project Dragon Ball Super - The Galactic Patrol was announced, but that's not the only new development.
The studios have just released the promo for the new television anime Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, expected in Japan on Fuji TV this fall.
It's an enhanced version of Dragon Ball Super, featuring new cuts, revisions to existing scenes, a complete re-rendering of all footage, newly recorded dubbing with added score and sound effects, and a full reconstruction of the story.
This edition employs the latest visual expression to deliver greater power and immersion across all scenes, especially the battle sequences. This provides greater accuracy to Toriyama's original vision and worldbuilding.
