Pixar studios are planning a new original feature film once again set in Italy after Luca set in the city of Genoa.The long-time Italian artist working for the Californian Pixar studios, Enrico Casarosa, after his amazing directorial debut first with the short La Luna (2011) and then with the feature film Luca (2021), is ready to return with a new project.A project that will bring him back to Italy, after choosing to set Luca on the coast of "his" Genoa.The new project is titled Gatto and was just presented at Annecy by the creative director of the studios Pete Docter.Expected in the summer of 2027, it is a completely original feature film directed by Casarosa and produced by Andrea Warren (Luca).
