Luca - Pixar's summer has an all-Italian flavor.

The Pixar studios present the long trailer of their new and awaited film Luca. Below the video just released.
This year the studios of Emeryville (California) take us to the Ligurian coast, in Portorosso, thanks to the story written by Jesse Andrews and Mike Jones and directed by those who knows that coastline very well: Enrico Casarosa.

The main character is a young boy who is preparing to experience the most unforgettable summer of his life in the company of a new friend among ice cream, pasta and eternal vespa journeys. But around the corner there is a secret that will put their lives in danger: sea monsters that the inhabitants of the Riviera know very well.

The trailer opens with notes and the voice of Italian singer Edoardo Bennato and his "Il Gatto e la Volpe" song (The Cat and the Fox, from Pinocchio's tale), while in the midst of the English dialogue there are many Italian words. The ending "what's wrong with you, stupido" is an example.

Luca will follow the course of the last two Pixar films, skip the theatrical release to land directly on the Disney+ platform, from 18 June.
