An interesting project created with mixed and innovative animated techniques will see the light next month on Netflix. Below the first trailer for The Liberator.
It is a drama mini-series consisting of four episodes produced by A&E Studios and Unique Features with animations created by Trioscope Studios using a mix of CG, rotoscoping on live-action footage and various other techniques.

The Liberator tells the riveting true story of the bloodiest and most dramatic march to victory of the Second World War: the battlefield odyssey of maverick U.S. Army officer Felix Sparks (Bradley James) and his infantry unit as they fought for over five hundred days to liberate Europe.

A series created and written by Jeb Stuart (Die Hard, The Fugitive) and directed by Greg Jonkajtys, based on the book The Liberator: One World War II Soldier's 500-Day Odyssey by Alex Kershaw.

This is the first project by Trioscope (studios based in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Poland) made with innovative hybrid animation techniques (patent pending) developed by director Jonkajtys together with School of Humans' LC Crowley.

The limited series will premiere in time for Veterans Day (November 11).
