First images for Aya and the Witch - new Studio Ghibli film

Read...
We had talked a few weeks ago about the new film from the Studio Ghibli which starts the tour of the major film festivals (including Cannes), and today we show you a preview of the very first images.
The original title is Aya to Majo, the debut of the well-known Japanese animation studio with a feature film made with CGI animations directed by the son of the great boss Goro Miyazaki, with the story inspired by the book Earwig and the Witch by Diana Wynne Jones.

It is not a feature film directed to theaters, but more of an experiment for small screens produced for the NHK network which will debut this winter on its own television channel in Japan.

Director Goro Miyazaki commented that "really hopes that our cute and hateful Aya will inspire our children and cheer up the adults.
Now, in our country, there are many adults and few children. I think today's children will be difficult because they will face many adults. When I thought about it, I met Arya. Then I thought, "Yes, should I do it?" What would Aya do with annoying adults? "
.

For the comment we await the first animations. Meanwhile, below are some screenshots:
