I Lost My Body - a very interesting original film from France

Read...
From the last Cartoon Movie some interesting projects have emerged, such as the French animated feature I Lost My Body, of which we show you teasers and a clip to follow.
The original title is J'ai Perdu Mon Corps, an original film directed by Jeremy Clapin and produced by Marc du Pontavice, founder and CEO of the animation studios Xilam based in Paris.

The project was previewed to an enthusiastic audience in Bordeaux, although the complete story is unknown, except that a severed hand has a life of its own and tries to reunite with the body from which it was detached. Its authors do not divulge anything else to avoid revealing twists and changes that will characterize the whole story.

Created with 2-dimensional and 3D animations (using the open source software Blender), the authors says that "only animation can build the hand's point of view, because it can characterize it".

Developed in 2 years (script, storyboard and animatic), the film is in the final stages of production, produced with a budget of 4.6 million euros, and should arrive in theaters within the year.

Here the first teaser and clip:
