Oscar 2018 nominees in animation sector
The ceremony has just ended in which the Academy has announced all the titles that will compete for the Academy Awards 2018, or the Oscar of the cinema. Following the titles of the animated sector.
The next and upcoming kermesse award ceremony, we remind you, will be the 90th and will be held on March 4, 2018.

Here are the films that will compete for the statuette as Best Animated Feature Film:

- Coco
- Ferdinand
- Loving Vincent
- The Boss Baby
- The Breadwinner

Out of the list box office hits like Despicable Me 3 (the highest grossing of the animated industry year in the world and in many countries), or excellent titles like the Italian Cinderella The Cat or, as an example, all the Japanese titles, discarded in full and certainly superior to almost all the selected titles mad in USA.

We congratulate only on the choice of Loving Vincent and The Breadwinner, which deviate from the usual animated comedies.

The only double-digit title is Pixar's Coco, also nominated in the Best Song category with the song Remember Me by Kirsten Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

The Best Animation Short Films category has those titles:

- Dear Basketball (Kobe Bryant, Glen Keane)
- Garden Party (Victor Caire, Gabriel Grapperon)
- Lou (Dave Mullins, Dana Murray)
- Negative Space (Ru Kuwahata, Max Porter)
- Revolting Rhymes (Jakob Schuh, Jan Lachauer)
