Patrick Osborne creates an animated version of Billie Eilish

A special on the well-known and young artist Billie Eilish will be available in a few days on the Disney streaming platform.
The project is titled "Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles", a special concert with many interludes from the artist's life around his Los Angeles and much more, with the help of the omni present co-author, producer and brother Finneas.

A project halfway between live-action and animation directed by Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Spy Kids), conceived as the iconic Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Cool World, with animated parts directed by Patrick Osborne, winner of the Academy Awards with the short Feast (2014), and an Emmy with the short VR Pearl (2017).

The animations were produced at Nexxus studios in London with the collaboration of Digital Frontier and Zoic Studios. A mix of CG and 2D drawing for a total of 12 minutes of animations produced using 90 minutes of Billie Eilish motion-capture and a very short time of about 12 weeks to make the whole.

The film will be available from September 3 on Disney+. Here the trailer:
