Miyazaki's new film announced in theaters in Japan in 2023

We have been talking about it for some time, about the new and awaited work of Studio Ghibli and its co-founder, which has been in the making for years, which finally seems have a release date.

The official Twitter account of the Japanese animation studio announces that the new film by Hayao Miyazaki will hit Japanese theaters in July 2023.

The original title is Kimi-tachi wa Do Ikiru ka (How do you live?), inspired by the 1937 novel of the same name by Genzaburo Yoshino. Find more information in one of our previous news.

Miyazaki is credited as director, screenwriter and author of the original work. Studio Ghibli will reveal the other cast members in upcoming announcements.
