René Goscinny's Little Nicolas ready to hit theaters

Read...
In a new French feature film it brings back to the theaters in an animated version the Little Nicolas, a character born from the mind of Asterix's father.
The author René Goscinny, known for Lucky Luke or for the legendary Asterix, created together with the designer Albert Uderzo, has among his works also a very interesting one called Le Petit Nicolas (this is the original title), a work designed by Jean-Jacques Sempé and dedicated to children, with the humor and a unique narrative construction, developed from the point of view of the young character: an elementary school boy. One of the earliest examples of modern children's literature not seen through the eyes of an adult.

The animated feature film of the same name is produced by Align, ON Entertainment and Foliascope, with traditional animations made at the French studios of Foliascope (near Lyon), and the direction entrusted to Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre.

Presented with the subtitle "Qu'est-ce qu'on attend pour être heureux?" (What are we waiting for to be happy?), the film will hit French theaters on October 12.
