Info and trailer below.Nimuendajú is a classic 2D animated biopic that explores the life and achievements of Curt Unckel, a German sociologist who moved to Brazil as a young man in 1903, living with the Guarani and becoming a pioneer in the defense of the country's indigenous communities, and was murdered for reasons that remain unknown in an Amazonian village in 1945.The film, aimed primarily at an adult audience, is produced by Anaya Produçoes Culturais (Brazil), Apus Animation Studio (Peru) and Cinezebra (Germany), and directed by Tanya Anaya, who worked as art teacher in some Brazilian indigenous communities including the Maxakali studied by Unckel, with a script written by Anna Flávia Dias Salles.
