Chlopi / The Peasants - the new film by Loving Vincent team. The team that made the beautiful film Loving Vincent made with hand made paintings, is ready to return with a new project: Chlopi (The Peasants). Below the first trailer.Director Dorota Kobiela and husband Hugh Welchman (producer) along with the BreakThru Films studio team return with a new production inspired by the book "Chlopi "by the Polish writer Wladyslaw Reymont (Nobel Prize for Literature).The story of the book, published in 4 parts, tells the life of Polish peasants in the 4 seasons of the year.The film is made with the same techniques experimented with Loving Vincent: frame-on-frame painting on a live action scenes (rotoscoping style).
