The French feature film recently acquired by Sony Pictures Classic is titled Iron Boy and comes with a trailer ahead of its release in theaters.

The Corset (internationally Iron Boy) is directed by Louis Clichy and based on his childhood in the French countryside. Co-written by Clichy and Franck Salomé, it is produced by Paris based studios Eddy Cinema.

Christophe, a 10-year-old boy with balance problems, navigates life wearing a brace while his struggling family farm undergoes modernization. Torn between independence and mending ties with his distant father, he ponders his future.

Expected in French theaters on October 14, it has been acquired by Sony Pictures Classic for North and South America, India, and Asia.
