The anime BLEACH: A Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity is expected in Japan this Summer. All the info and the trailer below.
Written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, BLEACH, along with Naruto and One Piece, are the three most popular shonen anime worldwide.

Produced by Pierrot Films, the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War series features Tomohisa Taguchi as chief director and scriptwriter, along with Masaki Hiramatsu, Hikaru Murata as episode director, Masashi Kudo as character designer, and Shiro Sagisu as music composer.

The story take us in the destruction looms at the end of the Thousand-Year Blood War between the Soul Reapers and Quincies. The Royal Guard Squad Zero confronts Yhwach as he attempts to enter the Royal Palace. However, the Quincy King and his Royal Guard shatter Squad Zero’s powerful Bankai and finally steps into the Reio Greater Palace. Ichibe Hyosube entrusts Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies to protect the Soul King, but due to Yhwach’s trickery, Ichigo cuts down the Soul King with his sword.

Produced from 2022, the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War series is divided into four parts, the final one, "The Calamity," will air from July on TV Tokyo and its affiliates and will also hit theaters in North America alongside the previous installments in limited events ending on June 25.
