The reboot of the anime Ranma 1/2, based on the manga of the same name by Rumiko Takahashi, returns with Season 3. The first teaser below.
The reboot is being produced by Mappa Studios, with almost all of the cast returning, directed by Konosuke Uda (One Piece: Dead End), scripts by Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon, Astro Note), and character designs by Hiromi Taniguchi (Kurage no Shokudo).
Ranma Saotome, the young sixteen-year-old martial arts expert afflicted by the singular curse that transforms him into a girl (like his father, who transforms into a Panda) after falling into China Cursed Springs, is ready to return after the manga written and illustrated by Takahashi in 1987 and the first anime produced in 1989.
After the first seasons released in October 2024 and October 2025, the third season will arrive in October 2026 on the NTV channel and simultaneously worldwide on Netflix.
