The anime Witch Hat Atelier has a release date after a delay of several months. Below, we show you the new promo and the premiere.
The original manga by Kamome Shirahama launched in 2016 and has 7 million copies in circulation to date.
The story centers on Koko, a girl who lives in a little village, and who has always dreamed of becoming a wizard. But being born without magical aptitude meant that she could never become a wizard, and could never hope to witness magic's spark. She gave up on her dream. But one day, a traveling wizard named Kiefley came to her village, and she happened to see him performing magic.
The anime is directed by Ayumu Watanabe (Doraemon films) at Bug Films. The producer is Hiroaki Kojima (animation producer of Komi Can't Communicate). The character designs are by Kairi Unabara (Pokémon Evolutions). The music is composed by Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring).
The series is scheduled to premiere on April 6 on the Japanese channel Tokyo MX and stream on Crunchyroll.
