It is the project of a new animated series titled El Guapo vs The Narco Vampires of which we present a long animatic made by its author.
Mexico City-born author, director, and producer Jorge R. Gutierrez, born in 1975, is ready to return with a new project inspired by Mexican culture and folklore, following his work on The Book of Life (2014) and Maya And The Three (2021).

The working title is El Guapo vs. The Narco Vampires, his first project aimed at an adult audience, developed with his company Mexopolis in association with ANIMA Estudios. The author is currently seeking partners to produce the series.

The video posted by Gutierrez is a long animatic of the pilot episode, the first few minutes of which are already completed:
