The television anime of The Ramparts of Ice coming next April

The anime version of the The Ramparts of Ice manga is in production, expected on Japanese small screens next spring. The first animations will follow.
Kocha Agasawa's manga, Koori no Jyoheki, originally ran as a webtoon from 2020 to 2022. Shueisha published the 14th and final volume last February.
Studio KAI is producing the anime, with direction by Mankyu, scripts by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, character designs by Miki Ogino, and music composed by Kanade Sakuma and Natsumi Tabuchi.
The story centers on Koyuki Hikawa, a distant high school student who has difficulty connecting with others and builds a wall between herself and others. Although she spends her time alone at school, for some reason Minato Amemiya continues to grow closer to her. This frustrating adolescence story follows the lives of four complicated individuals: Koyuki and Minato, plus popular girl Miki and laid-back boy Yota.
