Animusic, the weekend appointment that brings music and animations to our pages, today lets us listen to the song Never Be You by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
The American singer, musician, producer and actor certainly needs no introduction. Born in 1950, he passed away in 2017 and in addition to solo albums, he was part of bands such as Mudcrutch, Traveling Wilburys and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
The song Never By You was recorded in 1984 for the soundtrack of the film "Streets of Fire" by Walter Hill, which later became a Country hit. Never released on an album, it was included in the Deluxe Edition of "Long After Dark". The video clip of the song is directed and animated by Jeff Scher.
