Uru is a Japanese singer-songwriter who has been active since 2013, but little is known about her, as she values her privacy. She has released three albums and numerous singles, reaching number four on the Japanese album charts.

The song Katawara nite Tsukiyo (Moonlit Night by My Side) is the theme song for the anime film The Camphorwood Custodian [news], which will be released in Japanese theaters on January 30th.
