The famous children story written a century and a half ago becomes a feature which hits UK theaters next month. Trailer and info below.
The Canterville Ghost is a famous humorous children's story written by Oscar Wilde in 1887 which, after the countless film and television versions produced, returns in an animated version thanks to the Indian animations studios Toonz Media Group.
In the story, the ghost of Sir Simon Canterville has been roaming his castle for centuries, searching for a descendant who can release him from his curse by performing a brave deed. The only problem is - he keeps scaring them away!
Finally, a family move in who refuse to be startled, and Sir Simon is able to tell his tale to the inquisitive and courageous Virginia. Can the two of them survive The Ghost Catcher, and The Reverend, to bring balance to the house and set Sir Simon free?
Starring Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, Emily Carey, Miranda Hart and Toby Jones, the film will hit UK theaters from September 22nd.
