A new manga to anime adaptation has been unveiled with a first promo: The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague.
The manga by Miyuki Tonogaya (at home Kori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Doryo Joshi) is preparing to land on small Japanese screens.
The "fantasy romantic comedy set on workplace" revolves around Himuro-kun, a modern-day descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore, and his seemingly aloof, eccentric yet kind colleague Fuyutsuki. Himuro-kun tends to freeze nearby objects or summon a snowstorm when he is agitated, and he also happens to have a secret crush on Fuyutsuki. However, Fuyutsuki is nearly completely oblivious to anything around her.
The television anime is directed by Mankyu at the studios Zero-G and the new Liber (opened in 2021). The Manga in the meantime has reached its sixth book published last June.
