Code Geass Star Chaser Aspal is the new anime in the franchise

The new anime in the Code Geass franchise won't arrive until next year, but promotional material and information have already been released.
The new anime in the franchise - which has seen various productions since the original 2006 series, the 2008 sequel, and numerous manga and anime spin-offs - is titled Code Geass Star Chaser Aspal (originally Code Geass Hoshi Oi no Aspal).

The new series is directed by Kazuya Nomura (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie), with a screenplay by Mado Nozaki (author of the Hello World novel), character designs by illustrator Rolua, "Agarmatha" illustration by Yoshi, and special effects and background art by Junbun Lin (Mobile Suit Gundam G-Witch -Beginning-, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury - Prologue).
