The animated action sequel White Snake 2 is released in China

After the first feature released in 2019 [news], the sequel White Snake 2 hit Chinese theaters last weekend. Below the final trailer.
The first film was produced by Beijing-based studios Light Chaser Animation Studios together with Warner Bros. Far East and grossed a whopping $62 million in China.
This sequel White Snake 2: The Tribulation of the Green Snake instead is entirely produced by the Chinese studios and is always inspired by the Chinese folk story of the Legend of the White Snake, with the story which sees as protagonist not Bianca, the heroine of the first film, but her sister Verta who must face a dangerous adventure to save Bianca.
