Soul triumphs at the BAFTA British Film Awards

The new feature film from the Pixar studios set in the world of Jazz Soul triumphs in England.

The film that sees the return of director Pete Docter (now creative head of the studios) has already won a slew of awards including Golden Globes, AFI Awards, PGA Awards and many others.

In nominated in the "Animated feature film" section:

- Onward - Studios Pixar
- Soul - Studios Pixar [ WINNER ]
- Wolfwalkers - Studios Cartoon Saloon

The American title managed to beat even the highest rated title produced in nearby Irish studios and also won the award as "Best Soundtrack".

The nominees of the "British Short Animation" section:

- The Fire Next Time - by Renaldho Pelle, Yanling Wang, Kerry Jade Kolbe
- The Owl and the Pussycat - by Mole Hill, Laura Duncalf [ WINNER ]
- The Song of a Lost Boy - by Daniel Quirke, Jamie MacDonald, Brid Arnstein
