Netflix will release Chinese fantasy New Gods: Nezha Reborn

An interesting title produced and created by a Chinese studio outside the national borders will be distributed exclusively on the well-known streaming platform. Below info and trailers.
New Gods: Nezha Reborn is a film produced by Light Chaser Animation based in Beijing which in 2019 made the interesting action film White Snake together with Warner Bros. studios [news].

The story is a modern version of a Chinese classic novel, the Investiture of the Gods, and this is a sort of sequel in which a new God, Nezha, reborn in a futuristic city.

The film, whose first animations were presented last year at Annecy, arrived in Chinese theaters about two weeks ago, during Lunar New Year celebrations, in which it raised over $ 44 million in the first weekend.

A film producers by Alibaba Pictures, Bona Film Group and the titanic Chinese streaming service Bilibili, with Netflix playing a big part outside national borders (in fact it is not available in China), confirming itself as the best streaming service for fans of Chinese productions. We remember some film as Next Gen (2018), Over the Moon (2020) and this year the unreleased Wish Dragon.

Waiting for information on the release date, here is the original trailer with English subs:
