The Legend of Hei - amazing indie film from China

The feature film The Legend of Hei, an independent animated film that mixes action and fantasy, will arrive in Chinese theaters next month. Below we show you two official trailers.

Based on the web series The Legend of Luo Xiaohei, distribuited in China on Tudou (Chinese YouTube), the 27 episodes are made by animator MTJJ (real name Zhang Ping), who made the first episodes entirely on his own and released them for free, earning something with merchandising that incouraged him to continue production and open a small production team.

Now its the turn of the film The Legend of Hei, created with beautiful bi-dimensional Ghibli style animations, in Chinese theaters on September 12.

There are no informations on international release at the moment. Here the first two original trailer and posters.
