Mickey Saves Christmas is the new stop-motion special

Disney studios will release a new Christmas special starring Mickey Mouse and friends to streaming platform and TV channel customers but made with classic stop-motion animations.

Mickey Saves Christmas is the title of the 22-minute Christmas special directed by David H. Brooks with his friend Ethan Marak at his side as animation director.

Production took place at Stoopid Buddy studios in Burbank, California. The process was completed in about nine months, two of which were filming.

Mickey Saves Christmas will premiere Sunday November 27 on ABC, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD and from Monday 28 on the Disney+ and Hulu platforms.
