Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the new Disney+ animated series

After the Disney announcements of the past few days and the numerous productions presented [news], its time to talk about a new Star Wars series.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the new animated series created by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian ) which will arrive on Disney+ in 2021.

Set after the "Clone Wars", the series stars Bad Batch, a group of experimental clones with unique features (first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as they find the its own way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate postwar period. Each member of the Bad Batch possesses an exceptional and singular skill that makes them extraordinarily efficient soldiers as well as a formidable crew. Together they will embark on daring mercenary missions and fight to stay afloat and find new purposes.

Disney among the various announcements also presents the interesting project Star Wars: Visions, a series of short films made by the greatest masters of Japanese animation.
