First animations from the Grinch by Illumination

The animation studios that created Despicable Me and Minions, next christmas will discover the classic Grinch character.

The legendary character born from the mind of Dr. Seuss, after various versions is ready to return in a new dress, realized in computer graphics at the Illumination Ent. studios owned by Universal Pictures properties.

The story is known in every corner of the world and will always see as protagonist the well-known character entirely covered with green fur and grumpy character. The only new thing will be his voice, which in this version will be play by the actor Benedict Cumberbatch (the last Sherlock Holmes or Marvel's Doctor Strange).

The film is directed by Peter Candeland, Yarrow Cheney and co-directed by Matthew O'Callaghan, with the story written by Ken Daurio, Stephan Franck, Michael LeSieur and Cinco Paul.

Ninth animated feature film from the studios founded by Chris Meledandri, is scheduled to land in theaters around the world at Christmas 2018.
