Evangelion - The 30th anniversary short film is online for free

The short film celebrating Evangelion's 30th anniversary has been released online and offered free to all fans. You can watch the full version below.

We talked about it a few months ago [news], about the special production screened exclusively during the festival organized for the 30th anniversary of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion entitled Evangelion:30+; 30th Anniversary of Evangelion last February, event in which a new series was also announced [news].

The short film was conceived and supervised by the creator of the title Hideaki Anno and directed by Naoyuki Asano (director of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time). The staff also includes Kazuya Tsurumaki (director of Evangelion 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.0+1.0), Shinji Higuchi (storyboard artist of Evangelion 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0), and Ikki Todoroki (assistant director of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time).

Published online for free a few hours ago, the short focuses mainly on the character of Asuka, of whom we discover further information never revealed before about the more hidden sides of the courageous girl.
