Last weekend the European Film Awards were presented, which also featured a category reserved for animated feature films.
The event no. 36, held on Saturday in Berlin, rewards the best European film productions of the year and, in the Best Animated Feature Film category, Robot Dreams by Pablo Berger triumphs b>, Franco-Spanish co-production between Arcadia Motion Pictures, Noodles Production and Les Films du Worso based on the graphic novel by Sara Varon.

The other nominees in the category were:

- A Greyhound of a Girl by Enzo D'Alň (Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland, UK, Latvia, Estonia, German)
- Chicken for Linda! by Chiara Malta and Sebastien Laudenbach (France, Italy)
- The Amazing Maurice by Toby Genkel (Germany, UK)
- White Plastic Sky by Tibor Bánňczki and Sarolta Szabó (Hungary, Slovakia)

The protagonist of the film Robot Dreams is Dog, this is the name that appears on the house intercom. Dog is a loner who spends most of his time at home. Dazzled by an advertisement, one day he buys a pet robot that he assembles himself. But after a few idyllic days the two also face some serious problems.
