One of the most popular titles from the italian Bonelli comics brand, Martin Mystery is ready to arrive in animation with a new 3D series distributed throughout the world. Below is the first information.
Created by the legendary Alfredo Castelli in 1982 and published by Sergio Bonelli Editore, it follows the hero Martin, an adventurous Renaissance man who applies his vast knowledge of history and antiquities to unravel enigmatic events around the world.

The comic sold millions of copies in Europe and also became a 2D animated series produced twenty years ago. The new series, Martin Mystère: The New Animated Series, will see the protagonists in teenage versions and will instead be made with 3D animations with stories aimed at an audience of all ages.

It is produced by Powerkids Entertainment Ltd. (Singapore) and Boneli Entertainment, the production arm of publisher Sergio Bonneli Editore S.p.A..

"We are thrilled to work with Bonneli Entertainment on this exciting new project," said Manoj Mishra, CEO of Powerkids Entertainment. "Our goal is to bring Martin Mystère to life in a way that engages and inspires viewers around the world, and we believe this new 3D animated series will do just that".

The executive producer of the series, Vincenzo Sarno, Head of Property Business Development for Sergio Bonneli Editore and Bonneli Entertainment, commented "We are very proud of our wide range of comics that have entertained generations and are distributed around the world. Now we want to bring our legends to life through animation to entertain both existing and new generation viewers. We want to share Bonelli's wonderful universe widely. We are very excited to collaborate with Powerkids Entertainment to develop and bring these characters, comics and stories to life".

The Martin Mystère: The New Animated Series production is due to begin at the end of this year, with a release date set for the later part of 2025.
