Fans of Star Wars will soon have new stories from their beloved universe. The genetically modified mercenaries are ready to return for a second season of the series The Bad Batch.
Disney+ has released a trailer and a new poster of the second season of the Lucasfilm Animation series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, made with CGI animations starring a group of genetically engineered mercenaries, with the first two episodes releasing on January 4.
The new season picks up a few months after the events on Kamino, with the Bad Batch group continuing their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will meet friends and enemies, both new and familiar, as they embark on a series of exciting mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.
Executive producer of the series is always Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), with Athena Portillo (Star Wars : The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance), Jennifer Corbett ( Star Wars Resistance, NCIS), Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels), Josh Rimes (< i>Star Wars Resistance, Star Wars: Visions) and Alex Spotswood (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) as producers. Rau also serves as supervising director, Corbett as chief writer and Matt Michnovetz story editor.
