Chainsaw Man - A man with a chainsaw on his head? Why not?

An anime adaptation of a manga whose title is already a whole program, Chainsaw Man, comes with as much madness as it can suggest.
With the English adaptation edited by Crunchyroll, the awaited animated version of the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto is expected in a few weeks between small television screens and even theaters.

The story has as its protagonist Denji, a poor and very indebted young man, so much so that he goes so far as to sell some parts of his body: without a family, without a future and a demon hunter out of necessity. Denji's only friend is the chainsaw dog Pochita, a demon who, in the face of another cruel mockery of fate, will forever change his master's life.

Made at Japanese animation studios Mappa, the anime is directed by Ryu Nakayama (Jujutsu Kaisen) and written by Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, Attack on Titan The Final Season). Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) is the author of the character design, Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover, Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls) is directing the action scenes and Yusuke Takeda (Eden of the East, Vinland Saga) is the art director.

The anime will premiere in US by Crunchyroll at New York Comic Con on October 7 and will offer it to subscribers at a later date.
In Japan, it will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and five affiliated channels and on Amazon Prime Video on October 11. The world premiere is scheduled for next Monday in Tokyo's TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills.
