Dwayne The Rock Johnson will play Krypto, Superman's dog

DC superhero pets will have their own animated movie. Expected next year, Below the first images and info.
First appearing in Adventure Comics No. 293 (February 1962), the DC's League of Super-Pets film will star "Krypto" Superman's dog, "Ace the Bat-Hound "Batman's dog; "Jumpa" Wonder Woman's kangaroo and Streaky the Supercat Supergirl's cat, together in the League which has often collaborated with the DC's Legion of Super-Heroes.

The story will see these animals as protagonists think about countering a dangerous threat while Superman are on vacation.

A film written by Jared Stern (The Lego Ninjago Movie) and John Whittington (The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Lego Batman Movie) and directed by Stern himself together with Sam Levine, produced by Warner Animation Group and animated by the Australian studios Animal Logic.

Production began in 2018 and only yesterday was it announced that Krypto will be voiced by Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) and the same actor will appear as producer alongside Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Patricia Hicks and Jared Ster. Negotiations are currently underway with some actors for the other roles.

Expected to hit theaters in May 2022, here's the very first teaser presented at the DC FanDome starring Superman's dog:
