Cartoon Saloon animate a new Greenpeace short film

Read...
The Greenpeace UK office commissions an animated short to an agency to raise awareness of the problem of deforestation. Below the short film in full version.
Greenpeace UK together with the creative agency Mother has conceived an animated short that sheds light on one of the great ecological problems of the world: deforestation to make way for intensive farming for meat production.

The short is titled "There's a Monster in My Kitchen", a beautiful animated short film produced by the Irish studios Cartoon Saloon (Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers).

Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, who plays the drug lord Pablo Excobar on Netflix's popular drama "Narcos", was tapped to narrate this short film.

"There are few more incredible and precious places on earth than rainforests like the Amazon. Yet many don't know that the meat and dairy products in our refrigerators could be responsible for the fires and logging that ravage the Amazon and other forests vital to human life but also to the animals that inhabit them. Meat companies continue to clear forests at an astonishing rate, all to produce the meat in our kitchens. We must act before it is too late."

Here the short film:
