The French film I Lost My Body triumphs at the Cèsar Awards

The Oscar awards of French cinema, the Cèsar Awards, which were presented last Saturday, saw triumph the animated feature film I Lost My Body? and much more.
At home J'ai Perdu Mon Corps, the feature film directed by Jérémy Clapin and produced by Xilam Animation has received two Cèsar Awards for "Best Animated Film" and "Best Original Score" (Dan Levy), and a nomination for "Best Screenplay not original".

Marc du Pontavice (CEO of Xilam) commented "We are thrilled and deeply humbled by these wins, which is the perfect way to finish what has been an amazing ride over the awards season. To see a small, independent film win at France's most prestigious awards ceremony against such brilliant contenders, is not only an immense privilege but also demonstrates an extraordinary inclination from the César Academy for innovation in animation."

The kermesse promoted by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma arrived at edition n. 45, also awarded Gabriel Harel's The Night of the Plastic Bags as "Best Animated Short Film".
