The new movie of the stylish director Wes Anderson, Isle of Dogs, has just been released in USA. Let's take a look to the construction of sets and puppets.
The first critics of the movie make it excellent, with 8.2/10 on Imdb, 93% on RottenTomatoes and 81/100 on Metacritic, film presented in USA on March, 23.
The story is set 20 years in the future, in a Japanese style city, as the director himself explains in the video. A place where the mayor decides to isolate/ban all dogs in a trash-island. Places with very complex and detailed sets, from the city to the trash-island, where we find a different type of trash in each scenes.
Two worlds so different from each other with different characters too, as the second video show us. Humans, dogs and much more all made by plastic, clay, hair, cloth and an iron core.
