The anime The Apothecary Diaries returns after the TV series with a theatrical film. Below are the info, the first promo video, and the premiere date.

The popular anime based on the light novel by Natsu Hyuga and Touko Shino, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, known in Italy as The Apothecary Diaries, after the first two anime series for a total of 48 episodes produced in 2023 and 2025, and pending the third season (divided into two cours released in October 2026 and April 2027), will arrive in Japanese theaters with an original story written by author Hyuga.

The film is titled The Apothecary Diaries - The Deceased Empress' Treasure (orig. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Bohi no Hiho) and is directed by Norihiro Naganuma, with production design by Yūko Kakihara, character design by Yukiko Nakatani, music composed by the trio Arisa Okehazama, Kevin Penkin and Satoru Kosaki, and animation produced by TOHO animation studios.
