The greenlit has been given to production on the anime The Eccentric Doctor of the Moonflower Kingdom based on the manga of the same name. Info and the first promo follow.

The doctor's medicinal bath is at the height of prosperity against illnesses and injuries in the Moon Flower Kingdom. During the crown prince Keiun's regional inspection, a young girl named Koyo successfully completes an astonishing "suture surgery" right in front of Keiun's eyes. Swirling conspiracy, suspicious beliefs, and deep-rooted traditions... Together with encouraging friends, medical doctor Koyo and crown prince Keiun confront various challenges in their country in this Chinese-style imperial medical fantasy.

Toru Himuka's manga, The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom, has been running in Kadokawa's Asuka magazine since 2018 and is currently ongoing.

The television anime is being produced by Studio Elle, with Koichiro Kuroda (Detective Conan) directing, Risa Mizuno (aka Aki Mizuki) writing the scripts, Akira Ono designing the characters, Hozumi Goda being the sound director, and Shiho Terada (Precure, Leviathan: The Last Defense) composing the music.
