Thirteenth century. Fatima, a young Persian woman taken prisoner by the Mongol Empire, decides to serve in the imperial palace to share her medical and scientific knowledge, highly advanced for her time. His encounter with Toregene, sixth wife of the second emperor Ogodei, son of Genghis Khan, who had mixed feelings about the Mongol Empire, will change his destiny...

Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia is the adaptation of the manga Tenmaku no Jadugar by Tomato Soup, published since 2021, winner of the award for best manga according to female readers at the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! in 2023.

The anime, produced by Science Saru, with Naoko Yamada (Liz and the Blue Bird) as general director and Abel Góngora (DAN DA DAN season 2, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) episode director. Kenichi Yoshida (Eureka Seven) is the author of the character designs, Kanichi Kato (The Eminence in Shadow) is responsible for the series composition, and Koshiro Hino is author of the music.

Expected in July on TV Asahi, BS Asahi and other affiliated channels and the first episodes in June at Annecy Film Festival, here is the trailer:
