An anime film for Medalist manga on figure skating

After the two seasons of the anime, the publisher Kadokawa presents the film that continues the story of Medalist manga. First promo and visual below.
The world of figure skating from Tsurumaikada's Medalist manga, published since 2020 and winner of Best General Manga at the 2023 Shogakukan Manga Awards and Best General Manga at the 2024 Kodansha's Manga Awards, continues with an anime film.

The story centers on Tsukasa, whose dreams have been shattered, and Inori, left to fend for herself. These two share a dream... and their tenacity may be the only thing that sees them through. Their destination? The ice... on the world's stage!

The animations are produced by ENGI studios, with the help of motion capture sessions by two Olympic figure skaters Rika Hongo and Akiko Suzuki.

The first season of the television anime debuted on TV Asahi's "NUMAnimation" block in January 2025, and the second season premiered in January 2026, also airing on Hulu and Disney+.

The anime film will begin after the events of the second season, and is expected to hit Japanese theaters in 2027.
