Between sci-fi and African traditions: Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

A new and interesting animated production composed of short stories is about to arrive on the Disney home streaming platform. Below the official trailer and the release date.
With executive producer Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) on board, Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire is developed and produced by Cape Town animation studio Triggerfish and will present short films set in a magical future with aliens, technology, monsters and spirits that will captivate viewers from all over the world.

It is an anthological animated series composed of ten stories created by artists from Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt who will bring their unique vision and stories rooted in the African culture inside the Disney streaming platform.

Here is the list of short films and their creators:

- Stardust (Ahmed Teilab, Egypt)
- Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer (Simangaliso “Panda” Sibaya and Malcolm Wopé, South Africa)
- Hatima (Terence Maluleke and Isaac Mogajane, South Africa)
- Enkai (Ng'endo Mukii, Kenya)
- Moremi (Shofela Coker, Nigeria)
- Surf Sangoma (Nthato Mokgata and Catherine Green, South Africa)
- Mukudzei (Pious Nyenyewa and Tafadzwa Hove, Zimbabwe)
- First Totem Problems (Tshepo Moche, South Africa)
- Herderboy (Raymond Malinga, Uganda)
- You Give Me Heart (Lesego Vorster, South Africa)
