New trailer and release date for Resident Evil: Death Island

A new long trailer has been released for the next animated chapter of the Resident Evil saga. It's titled Death Island and you can find it below along with the information on the date.
Sony Pictures Entertainment and Capcom present Resident Evil: Death Island (in Japan Biohazard: Death Island), direct sequel to Vendetta released in 2017, fourth of the series made with CG animations after the 2008 and 2012 films Resident Evil: Degeneration and Resident Evil: Damnation.

The story follows agent Leon S. Kennedy on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.

The film is directed by Eiichiro Hasumi (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness) and written by Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass), with the supervision of CAPCOM producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and the animations produced by Marza Animation Planet.

Expected in Japanese theaters from July 7, here is the new and long trailer:
