A crocodile who can sing - Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile

The Sony Pictures studios show us the first trailer of the live-action/CG hybrid musical Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.
When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle - a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music-living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle's existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primm's must band together with Lyle's charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

Produced by Sony Pictures studios, the musical comedy is inspired by Bernard Waber's 1960s children's book Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, produced and directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, based on a screenplay by Will Davies (How to Train Your Dragon, Johnny English ), with the music of the Oscar-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Pal (La La Land, The Greatest Showman).

With the actors Javier Bardem and Constance Wu and the singer Shawn Mendes (voice of the Crocodile), the film is expected in American theaters from October 7.
